Tip 1
Some riders choose to "hang off" the bike while cornering. Moto GP Riders do this very differently to road riders, where they can make the bike approach the corner upright and at an angle with the rear wheel sliding.
Tip 3
The ideal combination is to lean with the bike as it turns into the corner, hanging off as the forces increase. This maximises the bikes positive influence on the cornering and minimises it negative ones.
Tip 2
Road riders can't achieve this and often hang off too early. This causes the bike to lean away from the corner and hence the bike needs to move even further to lean into the corner when the corner is reached.
